This is a brief demonstration of ALLOut’s data access security reporting, which can provide insight into company and business unit access. When giving users access to the system, the access is often limited based on the organization’s structure. The business is comprised of multiple companies, and each company might have many business units. In some cases, a user might have access to the entire structure. Other users might have access to just a few companies, while others might have access to just a few business units. The row security that controls this access can be difficult to interpret and audit. ALLOut’s company and business unit access report can help. We begin on ALLOut’s access and reporting menu and click here to open the reporting interface. You can choose to report on company and/or business unit data and set the summarization methods. Then filter the data using a variety of related data options. Finally, specify the report style and display settings and submit the report. The first page of the report documents the reporting parameters and subsequent pages reveal business unit and/or company access. The sample shows business units and companies that can be accessed by a particular user. For more detailed guidance on this and other ALLOut features, please visit the ALLOut Academy.
